Classic Particle Agglutination assays
The first kit of the now classic SERODIA-TP (T. pallidum) assays launched in 1968. The SERODIA-TP•PA test remains in wide use for syphilis testing even today and we are the trusted supplier to screen national blood supply for TP.
Particle Agglutination is a simple one-step antigen-antibody reaction procedure that requires no special equipment. Our SERODIA agglutination tests are semi-quantitative and results can be assessed visually without a microscope. SERODIA test kits are based on three different types of agglutination reactions: Passive Particle Agglutination (PA).
