International Account Manager West Europe
We are hiring an International Account Manager for the West Europe region. In this role, you will drive the commercial performance of your area, manage key accounts and distributors, and ensure the commercial success of our product portfolio. You will work in a dynamic, international environment where autonomy, discipline, and strong commercial ownership are essential.
What you’ll do
- Participate in direct commercial activities to achieve the regional sales budget and profitability objectives for all product categories.
- Manage and support key accounts and distributors in the region covering West‑Europe, Ireland, UK, Scandinavia and Canada.
- Report to Management on sales progress, business issues and market trends in a timely and complete manner.
- Identify, analyze and recommend business‑development opportunities including new products, partnerships, out‑licensing, etc.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Field Service, Legal) to support reporting, forecasting, debt collection, marketing initiatives and distributor contract processes.
Your profile
- You hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- You have around 5 years of experience in a similar commercial role within the IVD sector.
- You have experience working with or managing distributors and end-customers, ideally in the UK or across multiple countries or regions.
- You demonstrate scientific understanding to discuss products and support regional stakeholders.
- You are fluent in English and comfortable working in an international environment; additional languages are a plus.
- You understand the market dynamics and culture of the region you operate in.
- You have strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills, and can communicate convincingly with customers and distributors.
- You are disciplined and able to work independently in a remote and international context.
- You are solution‑oriented and able to address challenges pragmatically.
- You are comfortable with frequent international travel, with intensity depending on regional needs.
