INNOTEST® β-AMYLOID (1-40)

This assay should be used in combination with the Aβ(1-40) CAL-RVC pack, product # 81586.

The INNOTEST β-AMYLOID(1-40) is a solid-phase enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative determination of β-amyloid(1-40) in human cerebrospinal fluid (CSF).

This assay is designed to detect the amyloid peptide called Aβ resulting from β-secretase way of APP (amyloid precursor protein) maturation and starting at the 1st amino acid (AA) of N-terminal extremity and finishing at position 40.

This peptide, hydrophobic and neurotoxic, is a component of amyloid deposits.
