Alzinova signs Letter of Intent with Fujirebio regarding potential commercialization of blood-based Alzheimer’s diagnostic test

Alzinova AB (publ) (“Alzinova” or “the Company”) today announces that it has entered into a non-binding Letter of Intent ("LoI") with Fujirebio, a global provider of in vitro diagnostic solutions, regarding the potential development and commercialization of a blood-based diagnostic test for Alzheimer’s disease based on Alzinova’s proprietary Aβ42CC oligomer technology. The parties intend to evaluate a broader collaboration following the outcome of the ongoing validation work conducted together with Amsterdam UMC, with initial results expected during the third quarter of 2026.

Fujirebio announces CE marking of the fully automated Lumipulse® G NfL Blood assay

Gent, Belgium and Tokyo, Japan, March 17, 2026 – H.U. Group Holdings Inc., and its wholly owned subsidiary, Fujirebio Holdings, Inc. (hereinafter “Fujirebio”) today announced that Fujirebio Europe N.V. has obtained a CE Certificate of the Lumipulse G NfL Blood assay under the Regulation (EU) 2017/746 on in vitro diagnostic medical devices (IVDR). This CLEIA (chemiluminescent enzyme immunoassay) test allows for the quantitative measurement of Neurofilament light chain (NfL) in plasma and serum.

Fujirebio and Sysmex begin sales collaboration for dementia testing

Fujirebio Holdings, Inc. (HQ: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Goki Ishikawa; “Fujirebio”), a consolidated subsidiary of H.U. Group Holdings, Inc. (HQ: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Chairman, President and Group CEO: Shigekazu Takeuchi) and Sysmex Corporation (HQ: Kobe, Japan; President: Kaoru Asano, “Sysmex”) have agreed on a sales collaboration for dementia testing. This agreement follows continued discussions based on the Basic Agreement on Business Collaboration in the Field of Immunoassay concluded in October 2023.

Fujirebio expands its neuro testing portfolio with the launch of the fully automated Lumipulse® G pTau 217 CSF assay for Research Use Only

H.U. Group Holdings Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary Fujirebio today announced the availability of the Lumipulse G pTau 217 CSF assay for the fully automated LUMIPULSE® G immunoassay analyzers. This CLEIA (chemiluminescent enzyme immunoassay) assay is available for Research Use Only (RUO) and allows for the quantitative measurement of Tau phosphorylated at threonine 217 (pTau 217) in human cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) within just 35 minutes.
