Fujirebio Diagnostics AB is now looking for Research and Development Scientists to the Research and Development team in Gothenburg
Temporary positions for 12 months, full time.
Main tasks & responsibilities
In the position as Research and Development Scientist you will be part of a team developing immunoassays for automated analyzers and for manual ELISA platforms.
The position mainly involves development and optimization of assay parameters as well as analytical and clinical performance verification and validation studies.
The product development follows the quality processes governed by the ISO organization and the US Food and Drug Administration for development of In Vitro Diagnostic products.
The position offers a stimulating environment within the Research & Development department with interfaces with all other functional areas and external partners.
Education
Advanced degree in Life Sciences
Skills & abilities
- Experience in development of antibody-based immunoassay
- Experience in how to operate and maintain automated immunoassay systems
- Experience in data handling and calculations using Excel
- Thorough, orderly and detail oriented
- Good problem-solving skills and an analytical mind set
- Ability to communicate, document and present results in English
- Previous experience from IVD industry is an advantage
- Ability to work in team
